Station Arts’ Young Artist Program is about experimenting and having fun learning about artists, art techniques and using new materials to make art. This program is made up of artists ages 5-15 who enjoy hands-on art projects each Saturday for 4 weeks. At the end of the session, the artwork is collected and curated for a 1-month gallery exhibit. For this show, our young artists learned about composition, balance, colour, contrast and pattern through a variety of collage projects. We created artwork using printmaking, acrylic and watercolour painting techniques. We hope you enjoy the pieces that are part of our “Makers’ Market.” We invite you to take a tour of this exciting place.
