About the Exhibit
Cozy & Creative
Hygge, the Danish concept of cozy contentment, is about finding warmth, comfort, and joy in simple everyday moments.
Step into a world of colour, craft, and imagination. Cozy & Creative is our Young Artist Program exhibit inspired by Scandinavian folk traditions and Hygge, where playful patterns, layered textures, and handmade details invite us to slow down and create.
Through paper assemblage, pen and ink, printmaking, and collage, our young artists explore art that feels like home: warm, welcoming, and full of quiet wintertime joy.
About the Young Artist Program
The Station Arts Centre’s Young Artist Program runs once each year in January and is designed for artists ages 5–15.
This process-based class encourages creativity, exploration, and skill-building in Visual Art. Participants experiment with a variety of materials and techniques while creating artwork that reflects their own ideas and imagination.
