October 24 – December 20, 2026
Kathy Thiessen Art Gallery | Station Arts Centre
Atim Maskikhiy, meaning “Dog Medicine” in Cree, is a multimedia exhibition featuring the work of 17 artists from the La Ronge tri-community area.
Through a collection of artistic perspectives, the exhibition explores the meaningful relationships between humans and dogs, celebrating the companionship, connections, and important role dogs play in northern communities.
Rooted in community-driven research, the exhibition also brings attention to the challenges surrounding animal health and welfare in northern Saskatchewan, encouraging conversations about access to veterinary care and the importance of improving the well-being of animals and the communities they are part of.
Whether you’re an art enthusiast, an animal lover, or simply curious, we invite you to stop by the Station and experience this thoughtful exhibition.
On display now through December 20 in the Kathy Thiessen Art Gallery at the Station Arts Centre.
