The Station Arts Young Artist Program is a great opportunity for kids ages 5 and up to learn about art, artists, techniques and art movements along with a hands on activity. This is a process based class that lasts for 4 Saturdays in January/February, with either a morning or afternoon session. A theme is chosen for each year that the activities are based on, culminating in a curated, one month exhibition in the Kathy Thiessen Art Gallery. This exhibit kicks off with an opening that parents and friends of the artists can attend.
