The Station Art Centre’s Young Artist Program is a wonderful chance for kids to have fun learning more about visual art, techniques and artists, and create work of their own. Classes include a short presentation and demonstration followed by a hands-on activity. There will be 4 classes January 11, 18, 25 and February 8, 2025 (you can register for the morning or afternoon class). All the work our young artists create will be turned into a full gallery exhibit with an opening celebration, for the month of April. After this show, students will be able to take their work home.
Once registration is complete, we may contact you to shuffle classes around if needed. If you have questions, please email Nicole before December 20 or she’ll be on holiday!
Please drop your artists off 10 minutes before class and be sure to pick them up right at the end of class. Make sure they’re dressed in clothes that can get dirty, because that tends to happen!
