| With roots in rural Saskatchewan and Australia, this Saskatoon-based trio brings youthful, hard-driving energy to traditional bluegrass, also taking influence from Celtic, classic country, and Canadiana. Showcasing hot banjo, mandolin and guitar picking, tight three-part harmonies, and a mixed bag of folk instruments, The Local Group plays music of astronomical proportions.
This show will take place on the Live & Local Stage so seating is limited! This performance area is cabaret-style; people will be seated at tables where food and drink can be enjoyed along with the music. Some visiting during performances can be expected. |
