April 27 – May 3 is National Volunteer Week and we’re celebrating the fact that “Volunteers Make Waves.” Just as water is in constant motion, flowing and shifting, so is each volunteer’s contribution towards creating impact in our community.
I want to say a huge, heartfelt thank-you to all those who volunteer their skills, time, talent and creativity to keep the Station Arts Centre going strong and to contribute to the quality of life we enjoy in our town and area. I want to thank our Board of Directors, all of our committee members and community volunteers. This year, we have had you fundraising, weeding, baking, event planning, number crunching, ushering, cleaning, painting, bartending and more! There is no way this organization could make it without your efforts and I am so proud of what our volunteers have accomplished together.
