LIFE WRITING WORKSHOP NOTES
Robertson’s Life Writing Workshop is a hands-on session on how to create
personal essays and map out longer memoir projects. Students will need to bring
a pen and notebook or laptop computer. Please come prepared to write as there
will be inspirational writing prompts for individual writing exercises. For one
special exercise, Robertson requests that you please dig into your vintage family
photo albums, or travel albums, to assist your memory. (iPhone or iPad digital
photos can also serve that purpose.) There is no pressure placed on Life Writing
students to share their work in this relaxed and safe writing space. All levels of
writers are welcome to participate.
